Neustift has been a well-known and popular destination for ages. The mountains surrounding it are breathtaking. Situated directly in the village, the funiculars 11er Lifte bring hikers, climbers, cyclists and paragliders up to the marvellous mountains. Skiers can enjoy numerous slopes after using the funiculars Stubaier Gletscherbahnen (glacier) and 11er Lifte.

Telfes

The sunniest village of the Stubaital is surrounded by a wild and romantic scenery. With the view on the glacier you’ll experience for sure a landscape right out of a picture postcard… Telfes (1300 inhabitants), with its wonderful southern aspect, offers everything that makes a holiday unique!

Fulpmes

The village of the smiths is surrounded by rolling meadows. In Fulpmes there is the valley station of the funicular Kreuzjochbahn, which brings you up to the paradise for hikers and skiers – Schlick2000. Special are the alpine park with climbing centre, a bivouac cave, a nature trail with alpine plants and one of the most beautiful lakes of the Alps.

Mieders

The small holiday resort Mieders is situated at the entrance of the valley and offers pure recreation. Hikers and mountainbikers will discover their paradise all around the mountain Serles. As well for skiing or ski-touring there are a lot of opportunities. Also try dry toboganning – it will be an un unforgettable experience! Nearby you can visit the highest-located place of pilgrimage of Europe, Maria Waldrast with mineral springs and a monastery inn.
